About the Author

Hello world - I’m lexe starr, part-time writer and full-time cryptid.

I write dark sci-fi fantasy romance and the occasional long-form Dungeons & Dragons campaign. My debut novel is Shattered Stars - a story about magic, Gems, monsters, and questionable life decisions. It’s the kind of book that I’ve wanted to read for a long time.

When not writing, I live tucked into the mountains of California with my husband - obsessively collecting crystals, plants, art, books, and stories. I love all kinds of art - and my demons always push me to try something new. I hope to see Shattered Stars grow as a multimedia project with art, music, tech, and more.
